Our Mission

The mission of the Schoharie County Farmers Market is to strengthen our local food system and celebrate agriculture as a cornerstone of our county’s identity and economy.

This long-established fine arts and crafts fair is one of the largest and well-respected in New York State. With more than 100 vendors expected, the juried show features top artisans showcasing their works including pottery, gourmet foods, wood working, textiles, weaving, oil painting, soaps, jewelry and more. All proceeds from the Fair benefit the Herkimer County College Foundation, so it is not only a wonderful way to usher in the holiday season, but it also helps the College secure resources to provide life-changing opportunities for students.

Central New York’s premier arts and crafts show, Christmas & Crafts continues to grow, and do does the experience. The new Grand Expo Convention Center allows for a more cohesive show layout, improved traffic flow and an enhanced shopping atmosphere making it easier than ever to browse, shop, and discover unique gifts. Over 250 booths filled with talented artisans and speciality vendors, you’ll find an incredible selection of handcrafted jewelry, home decor, candles, soaps, ceramics, gourmet treats, seasonal decor, one-of-a-kind gifts and so much more.
